So now that we have this consultation on Partnership Funding Policy<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – what happens to the ‘Datchet to Hythe End Flood Improvement Measures’ project that was supposed to replace Channel One of the river Thames Scheme (RTS) which was removed from the RTS project in 2020 due to failure to meet partnership funding requirements?\u00a0 I think this is a really good question!\u00a0 How about some answers please?<\/p>\n

(I believe that DHEFIM is – or may be – being considered simply because the undefended villages of Datchet, Horton and Wraysbury are now trapped between the MWEFAS upstream and the RTS downstream.\u00a0 Consequently RTS is no longer a coherent project – which will not look good when it comes to the Planning Inspectorate and consideration of the request for a Development Consent Order.)<\/p>\n
