{"id":3374,"date":"2026-01-26T16:51:48","date_gmt":"2026-01-26T16:51:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dhwnews.com\/?p=3374"},"modified":"2026-01-27T08:33:55","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T08:33:55","slug":"3374","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dhwnews.com\/?p=3374","title":{"rendered":"Email to Charity Commission ref DRCCT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Email from Ewan Larcombe to the Charity Commission 26-1-2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Can you help me please?\u00a0 In April last year David Buckley (Chair of Datchet Parish Council) failed in his attempt to overthrow\/eject the Trustees and consequently take control of the assets of the DRCCT.\u00a0 Trustee and other details were then changed by the Parish Council Clerk but the correct details have been reinstated.<\/p>\n<p>Today, David Buckley is repeatedly claiming that the Charity Commission is still investigating matters relating to the DRCCT &#8211; which prevents those matters being properly considered and moved forwards.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Please confirm that the Charity Commission has no issues with Monica Davies and myself (Ewan Larcombe) as the Trustees of the DRCCT Charity Number 252303.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thank you<\/p>\n<p>Ewan Larcombe (DRCCT Chair)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Email received from Charity Commission<\/strong>:\u00a0 Thank you for submitting your Freedom of Information (FOI) request to the Charity Commission. We will respond within 20 working days.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>NOTES:\u00a0 David Buckley (Datchet Parish Council Chair) is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>personally responsible for deliberate obfuscation and delay in resolving the issues*<\/strong><\/span> between Datchet Parish Council and the DRCCT.\u00a0 The Clerk continues to hide the report (despite repeated requests) given to the meeting at Windsor in April 2025.\u00a0 The names of the Councillors involved in this fiasco (mostly recently co-opted) are available on the DPC website statement <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.datchetparishcouncil.gov.uk\/_UserFiles\/Files\/Documents\/Website%20Statement%20-%20Datchet%20Parish%20Council%20Takes%20Action%20to%20Ensure%20Proper%20Governance%20of%20the%20Datchet%20Recreation%20Centre%20Charitable%20Trust.pdf\">here.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">*So what are the issues?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Cllr David Buckley (supported by the Clerk and some other Cllrs) will not accept that Monica Davies and Ewan Larcombe were (and still are) the appointed Trustees of the DRCCT since April 2019.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Cllr David Buckley (supported by the Clerk and some other Cllrs) continues to assert that Datchet Parish Council manages the DRCCT.<\/li>\n<li>The Clerk (as the RFO) refuses to add motions to the DPC Agenda &#8211;
