It’s nearly 20 years since the inlet pipe to the Queen Mother Reservoir from the River Thames broke beneath the Horton Road in Datchet.\u00a0 The road collapsed and homes were flooded.\u00a0 Repairs took years.<\/p>\n

Queen Mother Reservoir and a 2.4m diameter burst pipe – April 2006.\u00a0 Near catastrophe – and then an Environment Agency cover-up!<\/p>\n

We were just a whisker from a world-class flood event, the truth still being hidden today by the EA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

‘The truth is that if the pipe had failed any closer to the embankment, a local story could have been world news’!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
