[<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">because we passed that responsibility to the Local Authority<\/span><\/strong>]<\/p>\n<p>Many were constructed [<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">by the Environment Agency<\/span><\/strong>] at the same time as the Jubilee [<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">River<\/span><\/strong> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>but have a short lifespan<\/strong><\/span>]<\/p>\n<p>Here is a list of footbridges that are currently closed to the public for safety reasons, and which council to contact for more information:<\/p>\n<p>Ashford Lane footbridge, Dorney. Contact www.slough.gov.uk(External link)<br \/>\nBlack Potts footbridge, near Eton Road, Datchet. Contact Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead(External link)<br \/>\nThe following footbridge was [<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>partially<\/strong><\/span>] replaced in 2023:Berry Hill footbridge, Taplow.
