Its role has been to support the transition from the previous management arrangements to the management committee appointed in April 2025.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>As you are aware, you and Ms Davies ceased to hold office within the DRCCT in April 2025. The Charity Commission subsequently wrote to you in March 2026 regarding your authority to act in relation to the charity. The Parish Council&#8217;s position remains consistent with those decisions.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>You refer to a statement allegedly made by Datchet Parish Council concerning councillors not attending the extraordinary meeting on 5 October. I am not aware of any such statement. If you have evidence of this, please provide it so that I can consider it.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>My understanding is that the meeting did not proceed because it was not quorate. I was abroad on annual leave and a number of other councillors were also unavailable. I am not aware of any other reason for the meeting not proceeding.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>You also state that the DRCCT is losing, or has lost, its charitable status. I am unaware of any basis for this assertion. If you have evidence from the Charity Commission or another relevant authority supporting it, please provide it.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>Following the unsuccessful mediation in September 2026 and the continuing dispute over the transition, the DRCCT took control of the Village Hall and its assets on 12 October 2026. Access arrangements and banking facilities are now being transferred to the current DRCCT management committee so that it can administer the charity and the Village Hall.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>For the avoidance of doubt, Datchet Parish Council does not seek to involve itself in the day-to-day operation of the DRCCT. Those matters are for the DRCCT management committee.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>Turning specifically to your question regarding access to the Village Hall, I understand that the DRCCT management committee has decided that the existing restriction on access by yourself, Ms Davies and Adam Buck will remain in place while the current legal proceedings and associated conflicts remain unresolved. This includes 21 October 2026.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>I understand that the DRCCT management committee will keep this position under review.
