Datchet Parish Council is spending public money trying to gain control of the DRCCT – with the intention of reclaiming the money (\u00a338K) from the DRCCT.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0I am concerned about the accuracy of statements from Datchet Parish Councillor Susan Young.\u00a0 Cllr Young is spending DPC (i.e. public) money while claiming that DPC is the Sole Corporate Trustee of the DRCCT and that this expenditure (\u00a338K) will be reimbursed from DRCCT funds.<\/p>\n

Cllr Young states as follows:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This expenditure has been necessarily incurred in order to discharge its <\/em>[DPC] duties as sole trustee a<\/span>nd to protect the assets of the Trust.\u00a0 DPC is requested to approve the establishment of a temporary recoverable advance facility from DPC to DRCCT, funded initially from Council cash balances, for expenditure properly attributable to DPC acting in its capacity as Sole Corporate Trustee of DRCCT.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Such expenditure shall be separately identified, recorded and reimbursed in full from DRCCT funds<\/span><\/strong> upon restoration of access to Trust banking arrangements.<\/strong><\/span><\/em>

Unfortunately for Cllr Young – Datchet Parish Council has never had access to DRCCT banking arrangements so how can they be ‘restored’.\u00a0 Ooops<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
