The shortcomings in the Environment Agency design and construction that have led to the structural failure of the timber Berry Hill Footbridge over the Jubilee River in Taplow, Buckinghamshire.
Bearing in mind that there are 22 bridges in total, the Berry Hill Footbridge failure resulted in a Member Question at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council Meeting on 21/11/2023.
The Member Question was as follows: The construction of the Jubilee River by the Environment Agency over two decades ago resulted in more than twenty new or modified bridges. Can you tell me please – how many of these bridges are now partially or wholly the responsibility of RBWM?
