My so-called smart electricity meter is not supplying electricity.
We are repeatedly told that smart meters make things easy. I changed both the electricity and gas supplier from Ovo to EonNext.
Unfortunately the Anclara smart electricity meter has not been remotely unlocked by the supplier – a simple problem you would have thought. I have requested – please just reconnect the meter remotely and promptly.
Today is 12/7/2026 – and the meter is 5 miles from Heathrow Airport – not in the Falkland Islands. I am told that it needs an engineer and the first available date is 23/7/2026. Surely this time delay is just unreasonable, unbelievable and unacceptable.
