- After more than 10 years. Is it true that no constriction work has started due to the fact that no contracts have been signed because no contractors have been appointed ?
- ANSWER – No construction work has started. The project design has not been completed and there is a consultation starting 22/1/2024. The project then needs Development Consent Order approval.
- I was surprised to discover that Runnymede Borough Council are as bad as RBWM regarding dodgy investments and financial management
- ANSWER – I think RBWM debt is in excess of £200m. I do not know about Runnymede.
- Should a Development Consent Order have been signed years ago
- ANSWER – A Development Consent Order is simply a special type of planning application normally used on big projects (NSIP’s). They are determined by the Planning Inspectorate.
- Do you have a copy of the agenda for these forthcoming consultations. ?
- ANSWER – The dates, times and places have been published but I have not seen the actual EA/SCC consultation. It should appear on or before 22/1/2024.
