DRCCT assets stolen by Datchet Parish Council?

Posted on October 23, 2026October 23, 2026 by ecwlarcombe

As a Datchet Parish Councillor I received a Summons for a meeting on Wednesday 21st October 2026 that I was prevented from attending.  Is this lawful?   Consequently – here is something for you to consider.  Allegedly – Datchet Parish Council – specifically the Councillors (named here  in an undated and unsigned Statement on the DPC website) and aided by the Clerk – are party to a conspiracy to defraud.  Borough Cllr David Buckley (Reform UK) broke into Datchet Hall on Monday 12 October 2026 – at night (during a Council Meeting elsewhere that he would normally have chaired).  With the aid of a locksmith who drilled out and changed the lock Cllr Buckley then instructed security men to keep the Trustees out of the building.  Today Cllr Buckley continues to disadvantage the DRCCT Trustees (in place since 2019) while hiding behind Wellers Law Solicitors.  Cllr Dennie Loveridge claims to be the DRCCT Chair.

This is what I wrote to Cllr Buckley:

May I respectfully suggest that instead of engaging a locksmith to drill out the Datchet Hall high security lock at night – and hiring 24 hour security to keep me out of the Datchet Hall – you should make the time to look at the evidence – and in particular LGA 1972(s139)3 and the recent DRCCT Charity accounts published on the Charity Commission website.

Below are some of the (AI generated?) responses that I have received from Cllr Buckley over recent days

You could always look to get this legal cancelled and then we can get all the facts into the public domain, we appreciate you now have a clear conflict of interest on this matter following your latest emails laying out your personal position and conflict of interest. This has also been placed before our legal teams for input and advice and the conflict is noted.

You also state that the DRCCT is losing, or has lost, its charitable status. I am unaware of any basis for this assertion. If you have evidence from the Charity Commission or another relevant authority supporting it, please provide it.

Following the unsuccessful mediation in September 2026 and the continuing dispute over the transition, the DRCCT took control of the Village Hall and its assets on 12 October 2026. Access arrangements and banking facilities are now being transferred to the current DRCCT management committee so that it can administer the charity and the Village Hall.

For the avoidance of doubt, Datchet Parish Council does not seek to involve itself in the day-to-day operation of the DRCCT. Those matters are for the DRCCT management committee.

Turning specifically to your question regarding access to the Village Hall, I understand that the DRCCT management committee has decided that the existing restriction on access by yourself, Ms Davies and Adam Buck will remain in place while the current legal proceedings and associated conflicts remain unresolved. This includes 21 October 2026.

Ultimately, Sentra is a professional security provider carrying out an instruction received from the Datchet Parish Council Sole Corporate Trustee of the charity. We are not a party to any underlying dispute regarding the ownership or management of Datchet Hall, nor is it our role to determine the outcome of such a dispute.

While this time and public money wasting saga continues you may wish to check out both Cllr David Buckley and David John Buckley (the same person) on the Companies House website.

DATCHET

The name "Datchet" is thought to be Celtic in origin, and the last part may be related to cet ("wood"). In the Domesday Book it is called "Daceta".lla. Datchet is first mentioned between 990 and 994, when King Ethelred made small grants of land here.

HORTON

The village name "Horton" is a common one in England. It is Old English in origin and derives from the two words horu 'dirt' and tūn 'settlement, farm, estate', presumably meaning 'farm on muddy soil'.In the Domesday Book of 1086 it was recorded as Hortune.

WRAYSBURY

The village name was traditionally spelt Wyrardisbury; it is Anglo Saxon in origin and means 'Wïgrǣd's fort'. Its name is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Wirecesberie and as Wiredesbur in 1195. The name is seen again as Wyrardesbury in 1422.
