The Environment Agency has just published the attached newsletter that includes the dates/times/places for the latest consultations. The closest even in the DHWNEWS area is on the 25th of November, 1pm to 7pm, at Wraysbury Village Hall.
This is a revised proposal and Channel One was removed because RBWM were unwilling to contribute the partnership funding.
Note: The EA is now checking for contamination and lowering the river bed downstream. From the Autumn 2022 Newsletter “we are doing some sampling of the riverbed and lakes to check for possible
contaminated sediment. This sampling will help us decide what monitoring methods may
be required during works and whether we could reuse the soil we take from the riverbed
or whether we need to dispose of it, after treatment, to landfill.”
